Licensed Mental Health Counselor
If 2020 taught us anything, it is that isolation breeds the environment for dysfunction. Substance Abuse and Eating Disorders thrive in that place. Our natural response, is to continue ignoring our emotions and putting on a brave face to get through the day. My goal with you is to help take off that mask and work through the reality for a healthier future.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in eating disorders and substance abuse in children, adolescents, and young adults. In addition to working with families who have been impacted by the illness. I work hand in hand with my clients to break toxic patterns and enabling behaviors through a variety of therapeutic interventions.
Being a New England Girl originally (GO Pats), I began my career at Boston College obtaining a Bachelor’s in Adult Clinical Psychology. Trading the snow for sunshine, I completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in 2015.
Since completing my education, I have dedicated my career to helping clients face triggers, rebuild relationships, and create healthy coping skills.
Outside of the office, I am a mother to two young children and a wife. I can often be found at a playground or a theme park.
Life was never meant for us to walk through alone despite what society pushes. Asking for help is brave and working through it is strength. Let's work together to not just appear fine but actually be fine.
